Index > Muscletech > Gakic Reviews

It's not like creatine, it's not a stimulant, and it's definitely not your generic pre-workout supplement. GAKIC is a patented pre-workout musclebuilding supplement that is unlike anything you've ever seen or tried before!

Gakic is designed to help your body deal with metabolic fatigue, the by-products lactic acid and ammonia, and thus delay the moment of failure - helping you get 1, 2, or even 3 more reps in, allowing you to get more explosive performance in just minutes.

35 Male, Irish German, 6'2" 180lbs, 20% bdyfat January 05, 2010
Reviewer: Bill from Washington DC

I have recently started using gakic before working out - only 1 week so far.

GOOD: I did experience the ability to keep pushing through reps. i.e. i could do 5 pullups versus 2/3 - i was kind of amazed. I feel energized, talkative, and realy productive when working out - and i HATE working out. SO i am very pleased with it. But always worried about side effects.

SLEEP ISSUES: I started off using only about a "half scoop" dose along with half package of Metrix shake. Had good results - no issues sleeping. I tried a full dose yesterday of gakic (and metrix) and wonder if it's why i got a terrible sleep - stayed awake all night. I was annoyed and went back to a half dose today.

STOMACH ISSUE? I have not had any stomach issues. Note: i drink a glass of wine each night (maybe two) as well and eat pasta and everything else a weight lifter wouldn't. I drink coffee too in the morning only.

SUMMARY: As with everything, i say in moderation. I will use this here and there - but never for a long period, like a month straight. I don't trust anything that hasn't been around for years and years. But i figure a little bit here and there can't be that bad.

Women Stay AWAY! October 29, 2009
Reviewer: Crissy from Fort Stewart, GA USA

This is definitely not a product for women! Even though it was highly recommended to me, I thought I would try it.
I used it for a month, and the long-term effects are not worth it. It raises your blood pressure, heart rate levels, and it also messes with your digestion. It will even raise the pressure in your eyes.
I used this product mainly for increasing endurance, and while it did give me the extra *go* power to run another mile, the way I felt after it was not worth it. I was not half-assing it, either.
Good for men, but unless you want to be a powerlifter, women stay away!

What did you say August 15, 2009
Reviewer: Adam from seattle, wa

This product definitely gave increased strength and i was able to go longer in my workouts. However the side effects were too much to overcome, especially the upset stomach. I would assess the risk vs reward for yourself with a sample before purchase.

Works but watch out July 16, 2009
Reviewer: Skinny guy from New York

I agree with the following:

-Headaches and dizziness (spelling?)
-Nerves are shot after workout (Not a come-down but similar feelings to a drug-use aftermath)
-Definately makes you lift more and gives you more power during your work-out.

Ive been taking the whole stack which really seems reliant on the nutrition guide and workout routine. I'm down to a half dosing, 8 pills is like another friggin meal anyway! Seen some gains in size and strength but once this is done the GAKIC is GONE!

Spontaneous combustion April 15, 2009
Reviewer: Rob Carter from Montreal, QC Canada

I don't know if I was possibly allergic to it but I have to tell my story so people might think twice about taking full dosage at first at least. I took full 8 pill sample and I swear to God; honest truth my face became ALL red, my ears almost freakin glowing with my chest pinkish to red, almost felt like I was burning up from the inside, my throat got tight and I was almost about to call my fiance to bring me to the hospital, again, like I said...I'm not bashing it, just advising those of you wanting to try it to start with lower dosage at least. I got the scare of my life. Later on, I did my workout cuz I'm a workout addict, was feeling nauseous but did a bit better in my pushup counts and same for pullups. I might be the only this happened to or to which it will ever happen but please take into consideration. Maybe I would have gotten a better view on it if I had taken less

Back at it. April 13, 2009
Reviewer: CT from Ohio

After 3 years of training. This product has made THE difference for me, between lifting until I'm tired... and lifting until I puke.

Consider that how you may... I know my own body very well and every ounce of energy that I have goes into a beautifully formed rep. With Gakic, I don't have to slop my last few reps.

Best product I've taken-EVER March 27, 2009
Reviewer: Jdub from Anytown, AT 55555

This stuff is unreal. My workouts are more intense and of longer duration. I definately see results when taking. More intensity +reps/sets equals bigger muscles. Plus, I stack with Leukic. Having said that, I do feel abit light headed at times but have had no problems sleeping. But I do know some people that have. If considering taking, I would give it a try. I hope you get the results I enjoy.

Gakic/Leukic results... January 28, 2009
Reviewer: Jason from Stuttgart, Germany

I see so many people complaining about Gakic and how it keeps you up at night and messes up your stomach after working out.

Here's what i learned. I would take the pills, all 8 of Gakic and 6 of the Leukic 45min before my workout (4pm). I noticed an increase in weight, number of sets and number of reps i could do in just one week. I would always drink Nitrotech or generic whey protein immediately after working out; that seemed to get rid of any upset stomach or nerves from the Gakic.

Someone said it already above, if you work out half-ass you're going to get half ass results. Gakic lets you push your workouts further and further each week. I saw better results than I did with any other supplement.

Product works, with bad side effects. September 16, 2008
Reviewer: Rob from Florida

I've only taken this product several times, the first two times with half the recommended dosage (4caps), and the last two with the recommended 8cap dosage. The first to times I took the half dosage I didn't really see any gains at the gym. The last two times I have taken it with the full dosage I saw a noticable improvement in the amount of reps I could do. However, both times I have taken the recommended 8cap dosage I can not sleep at all. I will never ever take this product again. Might work for some, but its not worth it to me when I have school/work the next day and I can't get any sleep or very little.

I Noticed a change September 07, 2008
Reviewer: IllTRON from Ontario, Canada

i have done several big Muscletech stacks taking GAKIC, CREAKIC, LEUKIC, Celltech, Anator P7 all in one shot for about 10weeks. GAKIC was the only product i took on its own after the others ran out. But once it ran out i found that my strength didnt go down or ever up like they claim. I was able to do more reps. i could get 10, 11 maybe even 12 reps with weigth i knew i should get 8, 9 reps maximum. Thats the results i got from GAKIC

Muscletech? February 08, 2008
Reviewer: Mike M from Akron, OH USA

Muscletech sucks! Plain and simple. None of the people who endorse their products actually take it because none of it really works. Ive taken almost every one of their products and can honestly say that none of it works. I thought it was me but anyone Ive ever talked to that has taken any of their products say it doesnt work. Now they have their muscle asylum project bullshit out trying to show that they have really turned things around and are trying to step it up but its all crap. Gakic is no different. Its garbage. A 10.5% increase in strength with 1 dose? How is this possible? More like a 10.5% decrease. Ive never seen a company who fails to produce a quality product so successfully!

Works...but the Side Effects (Head, Heart)! October 10, 2007
Reviewer: Randy from Reston, VA

The Good: Allows me to extend my workouts 25-50%; Longer workouts mean more variations on arms, chest and legs before fatigue finally sets in; Good gains on strength as I am able to produce an additional rep or two from my sets

The Bad: Headaches, Nausea, Light-headedness - Often Commencing During Workout; Heart Palpitations, Irregular Heartbeat, Dizziness - 1-2 Hours after workout complete. Digestional issues and sleep disruption noted on full dose.

I have been using this product for around three weeks ago, starting with a half dose then most recent two times with a full dose. I found around a one hour delay for the effects to start kicking in rather than the 30-45 minutes they claim.

I am going to try going back to the half dose as the side effects were too great to offset the benefits for me. However I would advise caution, particularly for those with lower percentages of bodyfat.

Finally, I would have initially rated this product 4 or 5, but now that I am starting to see the side effects, the score has dropped. I will post an update after a few more half-doses.

Horrible taste September 26, 2007
Reviewer: N.amos from Australia

Still an amateur at body building and have tried my fair share of products at this point with varied results. Like most others read about Gakic in a review and gave it a shot. I didn't feel like swallowing 8 tablets after trying Hydroxcut (really messed up the sleeping pattern) so I got the powder. OK the taste is really BAD. It is by far the worse tasting thing I have ever had but the stuff really works. I have been on it for 2 weeks now and have really noticed the difference. Fatigue sets in later and I can push harder with larger weights then before. It is pricey but it is worth it in my opinion.

This product is a total rip off. Don't wast your time or money on Gackic or any other muscletech products. It tasted like stomach acid and made me feel like shit. I used Gackic for 1 horrible month and I saw absolutely no strength increases. If anything I felt weaker.

Be careful !!! August 15, 2007
Reviewer: James T. from Virginia

After a couple of weeks of using the product, I noticed heart palpitations where my heart would skip beats...after sets at the gym but also at home. Results were minimal and price was maximal!! I stopped using Gakic and my symptoms faded away. No one knows the long term dangers of this product, so be careful! Good food is always the best supplement anyway. So save your body and your bucks and just eat more protein...

why all these reviews are faulty June 26, 2007
Reviewer: Ooooooooooooooo from oooooooo

As you can tell all these people have only taken gakic for a week or so and are shocked by its effect. you have no idea what it will do to you after a couple months time. I actually used a whole container of the powder and found no bad side effects then. but I will bet money that if you use that stuff for 3 months straight you will extremly messed up. And as for those no side effects shown in tests, thats becasue those test were like a day long. One day this stuff will get a long term test and it will show its dangerous. But I will definately use this stuff before football games because it is sweet with the automatic strngth gains.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! February 22, 2007
Reviewer: Derek Garth from Phoenix, AZ USA

I should have given up on Muscletech after I wasted money on Hydroxycut Hardcore. Unfortunately, I gave them one more chance when I purchased Gakic. I followed the directions perfectly, and nothing happened. On some excercises, I improved; on others I made no progress. Don't make the mistake I did! Even if slight strengh increases are made, it doesn't justify the expense. SAY NO TO GAKIC!

Chicago February 22, 2007
Reviewer: TP from Bolingbrook, IL

I recently used GACKIC for the first time. I took the full 8-pill dosage about 45 minutes before my workout. I must say this stuff had me working harder and without the burn. Well, the burn finally came, but it was much later in my workout. Moreover, it gave me the same workout effect as creatine, but without the creatine (I haven't taken creatine in years). Yes, it's expensive, but it works.

heart palpitations February 16, 2007
Reviewer: Mo from Montreal, Canada

I am 35 (female)and have been working out for 17 years, i took gakic for the first time the other day and had the best workout of my life, literally. my weights went right up, as did my reps...i was crazy sore for three days after. My one concern was my heart, I felt palpitations, dizziness and shortness of breath after each set. Nothing overly alarming though. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that because usually the limiting factor during a workout is muscle fatigue and now its virtually eliminated, my heart has to tell me when to stop? I'm in very good shape cardio-wise, but if this happens I would say just listen to yourself when your heart and mind say to stop, it could probably be dangerous if you pushed too much. Be nice to get some official feedback about this from the suppliers...

Just one workout so far February 03, 2007
Reviewer: Sheepdog from Dallas, Tx

I can't say enough about this stuff. I workout last night using just half a scoop (half the recommended dosage) with a liter of water. The effect took about 10 mins to be felt best described as a very "Ready" feeling. Once I started pumping.. wow. Started pushing way over my max with more rep. No breaks in between sets. I could feel my muscles getting tired alot later in sets but even then it was very muted. At the end of my normal cardo/pump/sauna workout I'm usually crawling to my car but able to get more sets in and at the end felt great. Did not have the buzzed feel of the caffeine cocktels. I don't know what this stuff is but its great.

great if you use it right January 24, 2007
Reviewer: Darek from Chicago, IL

I work at Vitamin Shoppe and i get to see plus use a lot of new stuff for little or no money.

This brings me up to the time when i used those 1-week supply containers of gakic. I did it cuz I wasn't sure if it would work. I mean the label and all claims behind it sounded great, but then again there's so many other products that wurn out to be a waste, right?

Anyhow I tried it for that 1 week and I stopped taking all my other supplements(yes even my whey protein) just to be completely sure. And man did I see the results! The first day of taking it I was doing chest and triceps only. Back then i was on a full-body 60 min workout every other day. I saw the results right away!!! I mean I ended up doing 3 sets of 12 reps each and I increased the weight by 5 lbs on each set!!!

Seriously it was that good! I'm writing this for all the people that are either afraid or don't want to spend extra money. If you don't believe me, which I totally don't blame anyone for, go get one at your closest Vitamin Shoppe. This way if you don't see results after a week or two you can return it and they'll give you money back! Trust me I work at one and I tell all my clients that!

It has one minus though:

-powder tastes like crap, I'm meqan literally!

-pills look like they were made for a horse not a person.

Give It Some Time January 21, 2007
Reviewer: Bad Lad from Yale, Michigan

I recently purchased the Musclebuilding Stack containing Lekic, Creakic, and Gakic. The first time I took the Gakic I got a headache, my muscles got sore during my pre-workout stretches, and my strenght actually decreased. I was highly dissappointed. Two days later I tried it agian. This time I felt normal throughout my stretches, and I went in the gym for a 5 sets of 5 bench workout. Normally I would do 155 on all sets. After the first set it felt incredibly light. So I went up to 165 5 times for 5 more sets. The next day my chest was so sore!! My chest never gets sore, no matter how hard I work it. I knew I got an awesome workout. Gakic is amazing to say the least.

Muscletech's Gakic worked everytime I took it. I was like a charging rhino twenty to forty-five minutes later! Awesome! Either the weights went up or the reps, so even though a little steep on the finance negative, it works like a charm to get your strength up. Add some Mass Tabs by IDS, then wait a week or so, BAM!!; Crazy aggression and energy! Good combo, but Gakic is the real result getter of the two, with a kick booty pump within a couple sets! My favorite new supplement, along with Nitrix and some test booster or prohormone type supplements.

try the 10 day sample January 11, 2007
Reviewer: Matt from waukesha, WI USA

The first time i tried gakic it seemed to have a very little effect on me, if any, but the second time i used it (2 days later) it helped my fatige go up quite at bit and strenth as well. NOt the 10.5% it promised, but it went up, and it was pretty cool. I dont think the pills are that hard to sallow at all... in fact you can easily take 2 or 3 at a time. But i would recomed trying the 10 day sample like i did before you spend ur money on the big bottles because it seems like gakic doesnt work on everyone but a 10 day sample will cost you like 15 dollars which isnt bad to find out if it works for you or not.

Awful Zero stars December 31, 2006
Reviewer: Creatine/whey all you need from Canada

I am an experienced bodybuilder and powerlifter. I tried as an experiment to switch from a creatine/nitrogen based supplement(no-explode)to gakic. First off, Gakic is the worst tasting (not just supplement, but substance), that I have ever ingested in my life. As a mechanic I have accidentally been splashed with oil, antifreeze etc. Gakic is the most bitter tasting, disgusting shit ever. Well, it tastes horrible so it must work? No, I began having more fatigue and less energy every workout. My stength levels dropped and I was nauseated. I threw the rest of the container in the garbage and resumed creatine. Problem solved. The biggest waste of money ever and probably toxic with that taste. Another horrible tasting, useless muscletech supplement. You'd be better off chewing on asprin tablets, at least they'd taste better.

Reviewer: Joe from bemidji MN

I work at GNC and I am an avid athlete and weight lifter. I have been using the gakic pills for 2 weeks along with a couple other supplements(vaso from nx care, and vitrix) I definately recover faster and notice my strength gains go up daily.

VERY IMPORTANT, ARGININE IS NOT TO BE TAKEN IN LARGE DOSES UNLESS YOU TAKE IT WITH LYSINE, YOU WILL GET A NITROGEN IMBALANCE AND GET COLD SORES. SO ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TAKE A 2G OF LYSINE EVERY OTHER DAY.

WHAT U NEED TO KNOW November 18, 2006
Reviewer: The Doctor from NY USA

Gakic is one of the best supplments you can get on the Legal market these days. Creatine is starting to becoming more out dated, and it doesn't live up to it's expectations. Muscle Tech is the way to go all the way. If u want to get big and jacked you got to give this stuff a try I recomend the pills because they don't tast bad. If you read the instructions the right way , you will see resultes. It's great cause there are no side effects to this product. If you look at BSN's products and conmpare them to other brands that are cheaper even NO-Explode if you go to walmart you will find N02 that has the same dosege, so you are paying extrat for the name. Gakic works I just added about 30 pounds to my bench in 2 weeks its crazy I also recomend Leukic.

My GAKIC experiment August 28, 2006
Reviewer: Ben from Sydney, Australia

Im 18 in 2 weeks and have been lifting for a year and a half. Recently I designed a new workout to really shock my muscles and to stimulate new gains so when i went down to get my supplements for this workout (AE2 from nutrabolics and hydroxy ripped protein powder from vital strenght) the guy gave me this sample pack of Gakic pills and i thaught what the heck ill giv it a try.......I did my research on the product and it sounds amazing so when I took all 8 of those giant tablets, which aren't that hard to take down, the smell was nasty but if they did what they said they would do it would be worth it. first thing i noticed was a splitting headache then when i hit the gym 30 min later i noticed absolutely no increase in strenght and no delay in fatigue in short the product was useless! But i would strongly recommend AE2 from nutrabolics

Side Effect August 12, 2006
Reviewer: KK from montreal

Used it for a couple weeks - really seemed to improve muscular endurance, and I did go heavier. But for me a show-stopper... I get a minor lip cold sore every 6 months or so - with this stuff I ended up at the doctor with serious ones down in my throat(a first by a long shot) - pretty bad if you like to eat, drink or sleep. Had to throw the stuff out. Still some hefty pain 2 weeks after they appeared .

It does say beware of this on the label.

Reviewer: Jeremy from Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia

I've been training for about a year. I invested in some gakic and found that im not lifting more weight as such but lifting the current max weights for more reps. for example my squats have gone from 200kg @ 4 reps to 200kg @ 8-10 reps. im not sure if it is from the gakic im getting this result or from the muscle growth from the weight itself, but i have noticed that my recovery time has dropped, and i fatigue much later in the set.

i've had no side affects. i've got the powder, and it tastes pretty funky... very medical.

New Tricks for Old Dogs August 10, 2006
Reviewer: Chad C from Framingham, MA

I've been bodybuilding for 15 years, starting off as the 90lb weakling, taking off sometimes as much as 18 months (ok..so I got married). I've seen the supplement industry evolve leaps and bounds over those 15 years, so when I got back in to bodybuilding hardcore, with a renewed vigor, I was looking for something to give me an "edge", to push me through those draining workouts and final straining reps. After trying several of the BSN products, which were ok, I saw the ad for Gakic. I figured I'd give it a shot. Hands down this is one of the best supplements I have taken. In fact, I am about to go on to my fifth consecutive month stacking Gakic with Leukic. I noticed the Gakic effect on dose one! I was moving more weight than I had previously done and I felt as if I could train for hours at high intensity. I also noticd more metal focus, enabling me to push through those "mental" barriers of easing off the last set or cutting out an exercise. Befire Gakic, my starting bench was in the neighborhood of 215 (I know - not big weight, but I was just getting back in again)First day on Gakic and I maxed out at 240 for 6 full reps. My eyes popped out of my head! After 4 months of Gakic, I am putting up 260-280 and with more reps. My starting squat was 250, and I'm over 325 now. I've put about 1.5-2 inches on my chest, and inch on each delt, an inch on arms, and 2 inches on my quads. (Sidenote: I started training heavy again about 6-7 months before Gakic was on the market so some of those gains were without supplementation.) I am stronger than I have ever been (I'm 36 y.o.)and I've been busting through plateau's like they were tissue! This product works! I recommend it to anyone who's hit a plateau or just wants to keep getting stronger and bigger.

I have just finished using Gakik for one whole month, during that time i stacked it with muscletechs Leukik and a "muscle gene activator" drink called Anatar P70. I have gained 3 pounds and am lifting 10% more in almost all areas than when i started the stack. I felt no side effects what so ever. I noticed no extra energy while at the gym and recovery times seemed no different thanks to the other muscletech products i was using. I am fairly certain that with dedication to the gym i could have made the same gains in the same amount of time without spending the money on the supplement. I wont be using it again.

Coldsore sufferers beware!!! July 06, 2006
Reviewer: Shawn from Ontario, Canada

I tried the stuff and i must say i was amazed. i was worried i was throwing my money away but it definately worked for me right away. i was lifting more weight for more reps. Take caution in regards to recovery times and injuries. The product works as well as proclaimed ...

... BUT ... coldsore sufferers beware!!!

it is actually noted on the label warning coldsore sufferers to avoid this product. I read this warning contacted musletech twice ... did not hear back ... and decided the sideeffects to cold sore sufferers could not be that bad.

I was wrong ... had constant cold sore outbreaks for about 2 months ... only took the stuff for about 3 weeks.

... i would also like to note i have since done research into "whats with the coldsores"? it turns out that coldsore sufferers should avoid arginine based products! despite the fact they do not warn you of this on most of them. the herpes virus responsible for coldsores can be agrivated and is affected by the ratio of arginine and lysine (amino acids) in the body. lysine works to suppress outbreaks and arginine stimulates activity and can lead to outbreaks.

Just my experience and a little research i have done. Hope this is helpful to someone.

GAKIC? Meh. June 29, 2006
Reviewer: ElPintoGrande from Indianapolis, IN USA

As a manager for GNC, I get to see all sides of the supposed 'Gakic Miracle'. As a pre-workout supplement (basically a fatigue-inhibitor), it's definately not the top of the chain as Iovate (by way of MuscleTech) would have you believe about all of their products (Don't get me started on their godly line of Gakic, Leukic, Anator and Creakic). I get to use products from literaly dozens of manufacturers of products that comes thru my store. The Gakic guides claim that YOU WILL get an increase of 10.5 percent across the board in strength, reps, etc. However what they fail to tell you (and what they don't want US to tell you) is that you have to continualy take their product for at least 6 months. Some people (depending on their fitness level of course) get these gains sooner. What most of you experience right off the bat is nothing more than your body and musculature reacting to a new substance that it hasn't encountered (your muscles have great memory)i.e. more explosive reps, increased reps, focus, strength. When I started on Gakic, to give it the honest try, and to be able to relate to my customers exactley what they would experience, I did get some increases in my workout. However the claims that are made by the product as seemingly instantaneous are exactley the opposite. If you want to keep shilling out money to Muscletech to get the gains they claim, go ahead, we welcome it. But at least keep an open mind when it comes to other superior pre-workout fatigue inhibitors that are smaller, cheaper, and give you the gains much faster. As for all the people touting NO Xplode... well, that's a rant for another time.

A Little tip with digesting the bricks I mean pills. Picked it up totally by accident. If the taste doesn't bother you put 1 or 2 pills in your mouth and let it slightly melt in your mouth. The coating become smaller and the ridges disappear making it a hell of a lot easier to swallow.

Unbelievable - this stuff works! I hope they don't pull it.. June 09, 2006
Reviewer: XCMDX from Boston, MA

I have to say this is the first supplement I've taken in 15 years that actually has a real and signifcant affect. The stuff works! My weights easily increased 10% after 2 weeks of taking this stuff. Not only that but my recovery period between sets is much faster, and I recover to a much greater extent than ever before.

The only downside to Gakic is that the pills are freakin huge and not easy to swallow. Plus you need to take 6-8 at a time. I would imagine some people won't be able to take the pill form, they are that big.

Anyhow great stuff, I have to stock up. I'm afraid the FDA or some left-winged nutritionist is going to have this stuff pulled from the shelves.

You got to try this stuff!

Reviewer: Trapman1 from Philadelphia PA.

I have been moving iron for more years than I can remember. With each new issue of he 'freak' mags, there is a new ad for a new 'breakthrough' product. Which of course I don't believe. I read all the hype about Gakic and thought bullshit, it's just going to be a waste of my $$$..ain't gonna work so why bother. Guy at work is a serious 'musclehead' and I wish I had a nickle for every dollar he has spent on supplements. He told me about gakic and I said get me some and I will try it. He gave me 16 pills...2 servings. I choked 8 of em down and hit the iron. Didn't feel a thing at first, no sensations in my body..no heat flash's etc. Only effect was that I was moving more weight without the effort. Example...425 was my max shrug, maybe 3-4 reps. I hit 450 with no problems with the lift..only problem for me was the recovery because of the amount of weight I moved. Next shrug session I maxed at 475 with gakic...Maybe it's real or maybe it's mental, I don't know...I do know I am stronger than I ever have been. My advice is to increase your weight slowly with each session on gakic, to prevent injuries...I have also done the same lifts without it and cannot move as much weight. I only use it once every 10 days or so, when it's a power session. I don't think taking it daily like protien/creatine is a good idea.

It works for me. Once again, be every careful when increasing the weight, to prevent injuries.

GAKIC.....NO May 30, 2006
Reviewer: Professional MD from The Strip

I bought into the hype before GAKIC came out. I saw no increase in my initial lifts. I was able to press out an extra rep on some sets toward the end of my workouts, but not much. Its BS. BSN supplements are so much better. And to that guy Diesel that was comparing GAKIC and NO Explode, he is wrong. NO explode will increase your strength, it doesnt just give u better pumps. It will increase your strength, pumps, and vasuclarity. NO explode over GAKIC any day, trust me. I cant begin to tell you how much muscletech sucks. Nitro tech taste like crap and is not even close to Muscle Milk which taste like a chocolate shake from McDonalds. Cell tech, come on, 75g of dextrose, not to mention the throat burning and the bloating. You see decent gains at first, but once you stop taking cell tech u lose 2-3 reps on everything. Besides it will lead to diabetes with all its damn sugar, the company even brags about cell tech's "insulin spike." BSN, Cytosport, Nutrex, Animal Paks, are the only way to go. MUSCLE-TECH SUCKS, ITS SOOOO TERRIBLE!!!

I'm using LEUKIC now and I just can't say enough about MuscleTech supplements. There is too much Sh**t out there on the market and I'm glad there is a company I can trust!

GAKIC May 18, 2006
Reviewer: Diesel from USA

Gakic made my strength sky rocket through the roof. Each week I added more reps to my bench. And for all those people that are saying nO Xplode is better supplement than Gakic is wrong. They are two completely different supplements. Gakic is a strength enhancer, not a nitros oxide booster like No Xplode. The difference is gakic will add weight to your exercises for easier reps. NO Xplode will just give you better pumps throughout your workout and improve your vascularity. It won't make you stronger like Gakic. So before another person writes a review saying NO Xplode is better than Gakic. They need to do there research first and try out Gakic before saying anything.

Gakic... May 14, 2006
Reviewer: Nick valderrama from Cali

The taste is like cough syrup and it takes some mental work to get it down, but it does work. It made me sweat more and I felt a little amped going into my work outs. I usually took it during my 2 mile cycle to the gym or just before my cycle so by the time I got there I was ready to get my work on.

Im 5'6" and weigh 180. My weight hasnt changed but my rep count, length of work out, and strength all went up. im busting 4 sets of 10 every exercise which was from 3 sets of 8 before. my dumbbell bench went up to 110lbs from using 80lbs dumbbells and 225 to 275 barbell bench, my squat went from 275 to 350, DL from 300 to 350, and row is solid 300. I can handle this these for 2 hours instead of 1 and a half before.

It all depends on what you do. I take it on an emtpy stomach and maybe my bike ride is good cardio to help the body induce the liquid into your system. I get a real good sleep after the gym with all that output.

Reviewer: Jason from Indiana

It was def. a great product. I would say it was worth the money i shelled out for it but, its not that good. Well maybe it is because I'm thinking about using it again. It really works well. I can actually tell my reps are going up after my 3rd and 4th sets of exersices. But it is very expensive to me. Its one of those double edged swords. I would easily use it if I had the extra cash but if i dish out an extra $$ every month on this sh*t then I'll be spending like 170 evrey month on supplements. So try it no matter how much cash u have, and keep on it if u have extra cash.
