I too have tried many other bars including Colossal, but this is one is by FAR the BEST tasting bar there is, period. It's as if you're eating a snickers, scratch that, the lean body tastes even better.

I think the Caramel Cookie Twist one has a great flavor. I actually enjoy eating it. Half a bar fills me up so that I don't eat junk. I eat the other half in the later part of the day or night, instead of snacking on junk. I eat it to fill me up and it does. However, I don't feel an energy lift with this bar. I wish the sugar was less but then it wouldn't taste so good.

I've been trying out the many protein bars out there to help choke down the ton of food I need to bulk up. So far I've tried the ProMax Bar, ISS Oh Yeah!, Met-RX Big 100 Colossal bar and Labrada Lean Body Gold, and the Labrada bar is the WORST tasting. I couldn't even finish it, I had to throw it away. The more I ate the worse it got, bordering on the flavor of puke! - not lying.
This bar reminded me of the protein bars I used to eat in the '70's.
Yes it does have 30g of protein, but man, you really have to hate yourself to endure the awful taste. Now I know, everyone has their own set of taste buds, and have their own "likes" and "dislikes", but mine were quite offended by the taste, and haven't ceased to remind me how badly offended they were by the aftertaste still lingering in my mouth (yes, I'm writing this just after I ended my last bite - I need to warn people).
If you want a better tasting bar get either Promax-Promax bar (only 20g protein), or ISS Research Oh Yeah! bar (26g protein). So far Oh Yeah! is my favorite and it tastes like a Snickers bar.

I can honestly say that if I were stuck on an island with one protein bar, it would have to be this one. With only 7 grams of net effective carbs, 9 g of fat and 30 g of protein, it has an excellent macronutrient breakdown, and A FRIGGIN UNBELIEVABLE TASTE!
